We're having a science day.

Today we are spending the day carrying out all sorts of experiments.

This morning we explored different materials and if they change shape when we stretch, twist, bend or shape them?

We squashed the balls and stretched the rubber bands.

We twisted the play dough.

The fabric was very bendy.

We recorded all the results on a table.

We then tested materials to decide which would be best for an umbrella for one of Santa's Elves.

The plastic was the best material because it was strong, waterproof, light and flexible.

We carried on our Alice in Wonderland theme back in the classroom by making and then playing a Alice game.

Thank you for all the fantastic Children in Need entries, they made a lovely colourful display.
